Week 15 — “Rest Isn’t a Luxury”

Scripture: “Come to me… and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 (NIV)

Reflection: Rest isn’t weakness — it’s survival. Pushing yourself to exhaustion doesn’t make you strong; it makes you empty. God invites you to rest, not as a treat, but as a necessity.

The Homestead Take Away: Even the land needs rest — that’s why farmers rotate fields. Rest is part of growth. I personally have always said, "I can't fill someone else's cup if mine is empty." It is okay to rest.

Prayer: God, help me slow down before I burn out. Amen.
