Perseverance, Strength & Late-Summer Burnout

Week 35 — “Holding On When You’re Tired”

Scripture: “Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.” — Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)

Reflection: There are times when even hope feels exhausting — when life has drained you more than you'd like to admit. But God doesn’t ask you to keep pushing on empty; He promises renewal. Strength may return slowly, but it does return. Even a weary hope is still hope, and God honors it.

The Homestead Take Away: Late summer heat drains everything, but with water and care, the land recovers. Renewal always follows tending.

Prayer: God, bring fresh strength to the tired places in my heart and renew my hope. Amen.
