Growth, Renewal & Inner Work

Week 13 — “God Works in the Waiting Room”

Scripture: “Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.” — Psalm 31:24 (NIV)

Reflection: Sometimes life feels like one long waiting room — waiting for answers, waiting for breakthrough, waiting for something to finally shift. Waiting can feel like nothing is happening, but God does some of His deepest work in the silent, in-between moments. You may feel stalled, but He’s still moving. You may feel overlooked, but He sees you. Waiting isn’t punishment — it’s preparation.

The Homestead Take Away: There are seasons where everything looks still above ground, but roots are growing strong underneath. Just because you don’t see movement doesn’t mean nothing is happening.

Prayer: Lord, help me trust You in the waiting and believe that You are working even when I can’t see it. Amen.
