Preparing for the Cold Seasons of Life
Week 41 — “You Can’t Pour From an Empty Cup”

Scripture: “He restores my soul.” — Psalm 23:3 (NIV)
Reflection: When your soul is drained, everything feels heavier than it should. Running on empty isn’t sustainable, no matter how strong you think you are. God invites you to slow down, rest, and let Him restore the parts of you that everyday life wears thin. Restoration begins when you stop long enough to receive it.
The Homestead Take Away:
Even the most reliable tools break down without maintenance. Caring for yourself is part of the work.
Prayer: Lord, restore my soul and refill the places where I’ve been pouring out. Amen.
